Removing a Day?

Sorry, quick question. My family and I are going for 5 days and I stressed to my travel agent I am worried about getting on RoTR so she suggested to upgrade one more day since it was minimal for us to add another day to try for it. so, IF we are lucky and get on RoTR on our first day could we cancel our last day tickets? I hope that makes sense. Our HS day is on a Tuesday and our last day would be on Friday.

No you can't cancel your last day of tickets. When you buy tickets for multiple days you get discount on how much each day costs in total. The price drops about $20 a day when going from a 4 day ticket to a 5 day ticket. The only option would to buy a 4 day ticket and then if you want to go the last day just buy a single day ticket.

Honestly I would just just buy a 5 day ticket and if you get to ride ROTR then the last day just go to whatever park you feel like (as long as you can get a reservation) and just relax and have fun.

edit: forgot that you could upgrade your 4 day ticket to a 5 day ticket. So you could buy a 4 day ticket and if you don't get ROTR the first day at HS then upgrade to a 5 day ticket.

thanks. I kind-of figured but I wanted to double check. We are headed to the beach and figured we could just leave earlier if I could cancel.

lol... that's in a perfect world and we get on the 10 or 2pm RoTR. :)

Your tickets are non-refundable, so you don't get anything back if you don't use your fifth day. If you choose to only buy 4-day tickets and want to go a fifth day, you can upgrade your 4-day tickets to 5-day as long as you do it before the 4-day ticket has expired. You can do it while in the park on your fourth day; go to guest services before you leave the park. That's cheaper than buying a separate 1-day ticket. However, if you want to go to HS on that fifth day, you might have a problem getting a park reservation. For many days, all the HS park reservations are taken.

What I would do is I would have a 4 day ticket with both DHS days reserved and drop one of the park reservations in between both DHS days. If one of them is an Epcot day, that would be best.

If I get into RotR on the first DHS day, then I'd go in to the reservation system, drop the second DHS day, and then pick up the Epcot reservation on the day I really want it.

If I can't get on Rise on the first day, then I'd go to Guest Relations, buy the 5th day, and then add back the Epcot reservation.

Nice!! Good thinking. Thanks!
