Help im a newbie at the Disney cp and it's my first week and I'm already hitting a wall. I had a misdemeanor 9 years ago-shoplifting, and the charges were withdrawn after community service and frees were paid but there's still a record. However it doesn't exempt me from working. I disclosed the charges to my during my interview but apparently nothing I had uploaded to my dorms for disclosure papers were received. now I've been removed from traditions and training and I'm freaking out because no one has answered my calls or informed me if they received my paper work I faxed over and I moved from a whole other states for this.

Does this mean I can no longer participate in the program? How long does it takes to process and can I redo traditions and training?

Any info is greatly appreciated.

I'm sorry I can't help you. I hope things work out for you. Since this is a "welcome" forum, I'm not sure anyone will have an answer for you. Maybe scroll down to the "college board" on the main page of the forums. They also discuss the college program there and someone might have an answer for you.

I really can't advise you about the CP but maybe if you are in the Orlando area you could go to Casting across from Disney Springs and talk to someone in person. Bring all your paperwork with you, too. Good Luck.

Best advice - Casting=HR

Hm. They should have told you to report to casting asap. One of my friends was removed from Traditions because of something that came up at casting the first day. She was told to go immediately back to casting and found out her finger prints didn't take so they needed to redo them. She then had traditions and started a few days late at her location. Call casting or even just go over there during business hours. Do it now as they should still be open. Do not let it go longer than tomorrow because Monday is a holiday so I imagine Casting will not be open.

President's Day is a postal holiday, but not a Disney Company holiday. So, Casting will hopefully be open and Saiyuki can get everything straightened out.

Were you able to have this fixed and did you get to go to traditions?

These are really serious charges. And I would have talked to the manager of the program to discuss this
