Remove Name

Is there a way to remove a name from a DVC title? We don't want to sell it, but want someone removed. How would you go about doing that?

It's going to require some paperwork.

What's the reason? Divorce, death, someone just wants out?

I need to do this, also. I called DVC and they referred me to First American Title. But I have seen others mention LT Transfers, and they are cheaper. I would rather pay $$ than do it myself, and am in no rush.

They will need to execute a quit claim deed and the ownership will have to be retitled. Probably best to go through an attorney. I understand that Jeffrey Sweet gets pretty good reviews.

As others have mentioned, you have to file for a change of ownership. I agree with others that there are companies out there that can help

LT Transfers was great to put my name on and take my then-soon-to-be-ex off of it.
