Removable pages autograph books?

Has anyone seen or know where to buy an autograph book with removable pages? I like to take the autographs and put them in a scrapbook along side photos and other Disney paraphernalia.

In the past I have printed out our own and then brought the whole scrapbook and pulled out the page for the character to sign but this makes for a big book to carry around. The plus side is some of the characters take the time to flip through the book (I already have many pics in it from previous trips) and I enjoy seeing their reaction but on the downside it is big and cumbersome.

Anyone have recs?

I generally use 4x6 blank index cards, keep them in a dollar-store photo album to protect them from rain/popsicles/etc...

On the Creative Dis board, there are TONS of designs for making your own. I bind mine but have taken the book to Office Depot in the past to have the books bound. These are not nearly as bulky or heavy as the books you buy.

I print the pages and then use the back of the previous page for the photo:

The autograph page is by Eliza Blake, a DISigner.

I guess I could use loose cards but I was hoping to buy something in book format. I'm a bit of a clutzy, scattered person sometimes so was hoping a small book would be easier (and also easier for the characters to hold and sign). I thought about printing cards and then binding them somehow but that would leave holes in the sides of the cards and I didn't really want that either.

Thanks for the suggestion though. If I can't find a book than cards may be the solution.

I purchased a 4x6 artist sketch book and covered it. The pages were perforated so they came out super easy. I've made two other books just like it, using the first as a template - with mat board, cardstock, squeeze binding and my crop-o-dile. Now I just pull apart the squeeze binding an trim off the hole-punched part. Works great and fits in our 12x12 book perfectly.

Thanks Rie'smom. That is a very cute design. What kind of binding do you get? I wonder if it would come apart easily or if they have some sort of perforated one.

Wow! Your books are beautiful. You did a great job. Not sure I'm as crafty as you but I guess I could try. Maybe I'll head to the hobby store today and see what I can find. That is, unless someone comes up with a great off the shelf autograph book.

After printing the pages, you can take them to Office Depot or Kinkos and have them bound. My first books were bound with a spiral binding. It wasn't very expensive. I've done so many for friends and family that I bought my own binding supplies.

All I used was some sticky tape (the really strong stuff) and folded the paper over the top cover like I was wrapping a Christmas present. For the inside, I cut a piece of matching (or complimentary) paper about the full size of the mat board to cover up the folded paper corners and taped the daylights out of it.

I embellished with some stickers and voila! The whole process took less than an hour.

P.S. - I keep ours in quart ziplock baggies to keep them dry.

ETA - the thinner the paper, the easier it is to fold around the corner. The Tink book was heavy cardstock and didn't lay as flat as I would have liked. The Woody book laid down perfect. The paper was slightly heavier than computer paper.

Beautiful work and a great idea!

I buy spiral binding from mybinding .com. The hole punch is this one:

The hole punch is not inexpensive but I've done so many that it has become cost efficient.
