Remote control droids allowed?

Can anyone tell me if the droids built in Disney are allowed on the ships. I have heard that they aren't allowed on dcl.

Well if they spot them, just tell security that they aren't the droids they're looking for.

In all seriousness, if they're not allowed for use on DCL, they're probably not allowed on Royal. Probably way too easy for an accident to occur with 4-digits worth of people moving around.
