After being away for a few years it amuses me how some debates have never died or even gotten worse. The mug policy change was still fresh and there was tons of controversy over what to do about the old "forever" mugs which appeared to have entered a form of détente until the ASSp changeover. Brazilians are still a hot topic. But one old argument I have yet to see resurface is regarding the lack of tipping, notably by Europeans and other foreign guests. There used to be an issue that these guests were unaccustomed to tipping back home and often failed to do so on vacation. I have seen that Disney prints a "recommended" tip on the bills and mandatory 18% on parties of 6 or more. Has these measures or some other education improved the situation or does it continue?
