I read through the entire Etiquette thread today and picked up a lot of great information while enjoying a few laughs and grimacing a few times. I got to thinking about all of the things I would like to remind my son (sorry, DS8, still getting used to the lingo) prior to our trip in June.

The ones that stood out:
Be polite to everyone (please, thank you, excuse me, etc.)
Don't run up and down the halls in the resort (though I'd say don't run at all)
Don't pick your nose (this stands for pretty much everywhere, though, and not just for children)

Do you long time DISers think it worthwhile to list things to go over with your children prior to leaving home to make WDW more enjoyable for everyone?

One thing I do (and still do even though ds is 13), I go over what to do in case we get separated. I do this at every park I go to. I have also told him to listen to cm's when riding rides for safety purposes. I don't bother anymore because ds knows to wait until ride stops before getting up, etc.

It's amazing how many kids you see at Disney World picking their nose. It's really gross. We even have a picture of our kids from Donald's Breakfastosaurus and in the background there's a kid sitting at a table behind ours picking his nose while he was eating. WHY don't parents SAY something to them when they see their kids doing this??? :confused3
I guess those are the same kids that grow up & pick their nose while sitting in traffic. Do they really think that other people can't see them?
:earseek: :rotfl:
