Canadian DIS'rs today celebrated the incredible contributions to our freedom made by our Canadian Vets. We cried. We hugged. We loved every one of our lovely young men and women who died for us. We cherished memories. Getting a sense that recent political events may have overshadowed this important time in our countries. Thought to extend a hand & a hug to our American cousins & American Vets who gave so much in conflict to a thankful World. We don't say thank you enough these days. So a simple & heartfelt thank-you. And we mean thank you. We love you. If you can add a tribute below, please do. Sure it will be appreciated by many DIS vets & their families, friends & all who love freedom.

Thanks very much are a return thank you to all the Canadian vets.

Canada and the Commonwealth countries celebrate it differently, it's not just about the veterans although they are a major part of it. It' more about not forgetting the ones that died fighting for their country. In recent years due to Canada being a country of immigrants they have started promoting that its poel who died in war no mater what side they are one as they both fought for what was right to there side.

We also take 2 minutes of silence at 11:00 as that is when the war to end all wars the first world war ended most places will tray to do it where possible like for example the TTC (Toronto Transit Commision) has a stop and stay policy on remembrance day, all buses, streetcars and subways hold at the stop they are at if they can without blocking traffic and wait for two minutes. A canadian song writer was in astore one remembrance day when a customer asked to be served during the moment of silence so he wrote a song about it called "a pittance of time".
