Remembering RichieYams

He probably knew more of the in's and out's of DVC then anyone on the DVC staff. He was instrumental in my DVC purchase and the way I split my purchase among two resorts. I always liked his posts............

I always think of him as I'm walking down the loooooooooooooooooong hallways at BWV.

Rich was definitely in my thoughts during my first (and probably last!) BWV stay a couple of years ago. I actually chuckled as I trudged my way from the lobby to my room by The Attic. If I ever smell ham hocks cooking at OKW, I'll be completely freaked out! LOLOL

I was thinking him the other day when I was feeling that some of the really fun discussions no longer seem to make their way here any more. Maybe i just miss them but he was definitely one to keep things fun and interesting.

Ah yes. The man, the legend. :goodvibes

He is definitely missed. I always looked forward to his contributions to all the discussions. Especially about the BWV. ;)

I laugh every time I remember his comment about how convenient it was to be able to reach the refridgerator from the balcony at BWV to grab a drink.

Too many people would take his comments the wrong way nowadays...

Great thread. :thumbsup2

I think of him at various locations when we're at WDW too. :)

I went through some of his archived posts just last week. He was a hoot.

He taught me how you could sit on the balcony at BWV and just lean back and snag a beer from the Fridge!

:goodvibes

Watching fireworks from the bathtub...

That's the one I always think of too (or the off shoot of it of sitting on the couch and reaching into the fridge).

I wanted to see if any of his old posts can still be pulled up by search but I had no luck.

I hadn't thought of this for awhile .............. what a sense of humor! It took me awhile to figure out if he was serious or not, and then I came to truly love to read his posts. You never knew which direction a thread was going in once he posted.

Thanks so much for all those memories!!!!!
