Remembering Grandpa

I'm going through pictures to share for my FIL's memorial service. Thought I'd share a few of my favorites. These show the very special relationship my girls had with their grandpa.

Very nice. It looks like your dd's have been blessed to have the same type of relationship with their grandpa that my dd's do. I am so sorry for your and their loss. My girls were not that close to my FIL (by his choice, not theirs) and have that special type of relationship with dad. They literally "fight" over who will get to sit by grandpa in church. Usually the oldest one is glued next to him and the youngest is on his lap. I can't bear to think of the day something happens to my dad and their grandpa. {{HUGS}}

Laurie, that is how it was. Even though the girls are 12 & 9 now if we went to eat or anything Grandpa was always directed to a chair between them.

It's my 12yo in the 1st 2 pics. The 2nd has always been a favorite and the relationship never changed from the joy they found in each other's company.
