So me, blonde here, thought that PN96 was having a swap about coffee. And then I remembered that Faerie took a class about "Small and Simple" or something to that effect. About the everyday things we forget to scrap for that we really need to remember.

So if Faerie could please give some suggestions, along with the rest of you, that would help make this swap (for next year) that much more successful and useful.

I'm thinking small groups with 4 to 6 people, two elements, and six weeks from end of sign ups.

Thanks.

Things like :Breakfast? Dinner? My hometown? My favorite room? I just want to make sure I get it. :)

Breakfast was my first thought --- I have no idea why!

Things like favorite toys, books, movies?

No I answered my own question -- these are too specific. I'll think on it a bit.

Where I (spouse) work, hobbies, local places we go, places we've lived

That stuff works, only it would be general books, all types of toys, movie theater things, work type things (computer, stapler, post-it notes, stuff everyone would use no matter what type of work they do), breakfast, lunch, dinner, drive-thru.

Keep them coming. This all sounds great!

Our book was divided into: Friends & Family; Home; food; stuff; media

It was very cool to do pages about my piles of laundry that never seem to make it into the closet or the couch where DBF and I spend a lot of evenings.

:laundy: THAT is a good one! Seems like there is always some :laundy: in a picture or two. :rotfl:

The album we did is very simple but I love it. I'll try to take pictures when I get home tonight.

One of the cool things was doing a 6x12 pages (cut a page protector in half). It was also suggested to use 8x8 and 8 1/2 x 11 pages in an album with 12x12s. Change it up, be different. I know Ali Edwards did the same thing in her Album Track

doing homework, making dinner, seeing the kids off to the bus, waking the kids up and getting the "bedhead" photo op!!!!

exercise, grocery shopping, scrapping (or at least we wish), television shows, music

Rebecca

I call dibs on laundry!!!!! I already have an idea of what it would look like.

Oh and the darn phone, "Grand Central Station, how my I help you?" is how I answer it.

To do lists, honey do lists, I have a great cross stitch pattern that has a vine and honeydews on it that says Honey do list. Really cute!

We could do a day of the week swap, titles being Monday - Sunday, that would incorporate church, the grocery store, etc.....

I can't wait to see the album Faerie, it will give me some more ideas.

Love the days of the week one...

Love the "stuff" catagory too...like car and stuff that we use daily.

I honestly want to scrap a page about my closet...weird maybe, but I could fill a book :rotfl2: and another one for my shoes :rotfl:

"Shoes of my life"

Ali Edwards, for the past 3 years, did an album track at CKU called "A week in the life" which consisted of photographing everything in your life for a week (minimum of 30 pictures per day)

The albums I've seem were beautiful

These are all wonderful ideas. I knew you guys would be great at this.

Did you pick a time frame yet Swap Goddess?
