Here she is. All grown up!!
She is full fledged member of our family...no intentions on releasing her. She seems to be quite happy and has never shown any signs of aggression or "wilding out".
Whenever I would take her outside, she would become so afraid that I knew it would not be an option. She has a little house all set up but also has "floor time" for a few hours a day (as I sit at the computer, she keeps running over my feet!) She eats pellets and hay but does love the cheerios we give her as snacks! Someone forgot to give her the memo that rabbits are supposed to like things like carrots and lettuce! I think she has spent so much time with my kids, she thinks she is one of them!
She still has the cat in her control....the cat is terrified of her and when she has floor time, Sabrina makes sure she is either out of the room or sitting up on the couch, out of Thumper's reach!! She will come to you (like a puppy!) if you call her and have cheerios in hand!
If you put your hand in her box, she comes up to you and nuzzles your palm, looking for munchies!
We don't know what to expect this winter. The local wild rabbits hibernate but I don't know if it's instinct or just because the weather gets cold. We'll find out I guess. Her appetite has really grown lately. She is back up in the middle of the night looking for food!!
Believe me, if she is hungry and there is no food in her box, there is no way you can ignore her!!

It wasn't til she was finally sure that he wasn't up there did she finally go back down onto the floor and hop around the room again!

: Now I want a bunny too! She reminds me of a stuffed bunny I had when I was younger, her name was Bun-Bun...I miss her now...lol
