Remember this?

I am one of the WHAT WAS EISNER THINKING crowd. The color is what made it sooooooooo bad. A blue would have been better. It looked like someone got sick on it after taking pepto.

I saw it that way on 2 trips a year apart, I didn't hate it. On the second trip they were just starting the refurb project.

Well, I liked it until I read what DaveH said...now it looks disgusting.

That was the year that we went to Disneyland Paris instead. I saw the begining and ending of the transformation to/from the pink castle, but thankfully I never saw the completed item.

In person it was UGLY, tacky but pictures it isn't so bad. I remeber seeing it, my face dropped, it was gross :D

I can remember being on Mainstreet. You would hear either that is AWFUL or IT LOOKS GREAT!!! It seemed to be half loved it and half hated it. It was not a gender thing either. Half males loved and half hated it and the females too. LOL

We were there! I actually liked it. DH didn't though.

I have a picture in front of the "pink" castle of us, it was just about to storm, we have our ponchos on and the sky was BLACK!
I love that picture.

I thought it was neat, for a finite period of time. I don't think I would have liked it if they had decided to keep it that way.

Hmmm... that's just....well... really kinda....icky.

3 words...adult onset diabetes. :( :D

That was the year we went on vacation with my parents. My mom died almost one year to the day later.

I haven't ever seen that before. I like it. It kinda reminds me of the Witch's house in Hansel and Gretel.:)
