Remember the movie "Ground Hog Day"? The same day seemed to occur day after day- after day!! That is my life now-days. Go to work, same duties. Same people talk about the same things. Same people are not speaking to each other. Same boring duties and same uncomfortable chair.

During the evenings the same commercials run on the TV time after time. The kids have the same fight. The husband has the same problems at work. We go to bed at the same time. We shop at the same grocery store. Etc, etc, etc.

Do you get tired of the daily grind and a Ground Hog Day lifestyle?

Maybe you could buy a new chair? :confused3 :)

Usually when DH gets home from work he asks "how was your day?" and I sometimes say it was the pretty much the same as all the others . . . I feel like I live the movie Ground Hog Day. :rotfl: :rotfl:

I hated that movie soooo much, just because I found it really boring. Honestly, my days are similar, but it's probably because i'm still in college that I don't have full days of work that are all the same. I have enough variation to keep me happy for 2 more years!

Yes I do get tired of it. I take the bus some days and others I take the funiculare.....just to have something different to look at....different people, etc. However, once I get into town, I do enjoy the dog I call snaggletooth, the guy who pees on the side of the building everyday, the man with the money plate who makes it look like he is playing the keyboard, but it is one of those self playing types; the 3 year old begger girl who limps really bad when someone walks by, but walks fine all other times; the man who chases tourists in hope of selling those accordian postcard booklets ONLY 2 Euro! :teeth:; the old lady on the bus who gets in a fight with whomever is in HER seat even though all other seats might be empty and heaven help the person that accidentally bumps into her.....

While I do get tired of it, my day seems to miss something when I don't see one of these people.

yes yes yes - my life is groundhog day too. Yes I get really tired of it too - especially at the moment when im living in chaos in groundhog day!!!! I like everything to be fairly neat and as we are preparing to hopefully move in the next few weeks we have the loft contents scattered around and sorting out cupboards. Arhhhhhhhh
