Remember the "get 13 months DVC AP" deal, refresh me on the details please

Were they for Gold AP or the premium water park AP?

Way back when we had bought the voucher for it. Activated it 6 months later. June will be the end of that AP. So we bought it well over a year ago and I can't remember the details.

DS is asking about water parks. Now he and wife has a few days left on a no expiration tickets, but DGD didn't need a ticket at the time, now he does and has an AP.

Looking online all our AP say....

I don't do water parks so I didn't care, but if the ticket was park of the great deal I'd get it.

So was it for Platinum Plus or is this an error?

If it might be an error, I'll check at resort to see what they say before heading out to water park. Don't want to make the trip and have them say, sorry that will be $200 please.

If you have the Platinum Plus Pass, it looks like you took advantage of the Platinum Plus for the price of the Gold Pass. I believe that promotion was running around the same time as the 13 months for new & renewal APs (which applied to ALL Pass levels).

There was a 13 for 12 Gold Pass offer, which we bought. A few months later, they announced a Platinum Plus for the price of Gold offer. They allowed people on the 13 month deal to upgrade to the Platinum Plus at no charge and keep the same end date. Then, at the end of the 13 months, you could either renew the Platinum Plus for 12 months, or wait and buy the Platinum Plus anytime before the promotion expired in early January of 2018.
The current deal is the Gold Pass, but I still have the Platinum Plus which we will activate in December.

The 13-for-12 was valid for all pass types. It began (IIRC) on October 4, 2016 and ran through January 3, 2017. They then extended the offer just for renewals through October 3, 2017. The DVC deal for Platinum Plus at the price of the Gold occurred late in the renewal offer period.

Did you purchase at the regular platinum plus price or the discounted price? Did you purchase a renewal certificate or a new AP?

I purchased my first AP a week before the deal started and was disappointed that I didn’t get the extra month. I wasn’t planning to renew, but the discounted platinum plus and extra month convinced me. That’s why I remember the dates so well.
