Remember the Dressy Bessy doll?

Anyone remember the Dressy Bessy/Dapper Dan dolls?
About a month before Christmas I saw a Dapper Dan doll at KB Toyworks. I didn't get it because I figured they had re-released them and I would look for a Dressy Bessy instead. Well, do you think I can find it? Anyone seen them recently? I've mostly looked online at KB and Toys R Us, but can't find them. I've seen the new ones on ebay but they're going for about $40!

I loved my Dressy Bessy! I have not seen any, but I haven't been looking for either one of these dolls though...my first suggestion would be ebay. Who manufactures the doll? Maybe you can try that company?? Good luck in your search. If I come across one, I'll email you..

I remember and I want a Dapper Dan for my DGS!!! They had them at the toy store at DTD in August and when I went back a few weeks ago they were out!!!!!

They have some on sale over at eBay. Some of the newer versions, brand new in boxes and some of the 1970's versions, like I had when I was a kid. I had both Dressy Bessie and Daper Dan and I loved them SO much.

Yep, I remember them. I didnt have one, my playmates had them and I was jealous!

Theres plenty of the original ones for sale on ebay.

Thanks everyone! I did see the older ones on ebay, but I would really like a new one for her to play with. I searched the playskool/hasbro website and couldn't find it (go figure). I'll just keep looking.
