It came out at the end of January. All the resorts were included.
When you say it came out, I'm still a little confused on how people found out about it...I never get emails with offers...was this just a code that people posted on the Dis?It came out at the end of January. All the resorts were included.
We booked in Feb and just got back from 5 days at Grand Floridian--plus we were upgraded to Sugar Loaf--it was the best 40% code ever!

Must admit I was one of the frustrated campers who didn't get the code. Nice to see the excited posts of those who did get the deal & were able to use it.
Sure was hard to feel happy for those who "got lucky" even though they didn't get the code but; managed to sweet talk a CM into it.![]()
Many others reported not being able to "get in on the sweet deal" too.
While i understand the marketing behind pincodes and think they are a great concept; i do wish that said usage would be restricted to those who indeed are targeted.
Evidently, the mouse owns me and doesn't see fit to throw me any pin codes. IMO, their wisdom is flawed, armed with an AP & a great room rate/pin code; i'd be happy to plan an extra trip & spend even more$$$

I agree with your post!![]()
While I was one of the ones to get it, it really was only because I have booked many rooms for my family and they keep trying to get my family members back. The cards always come to my MIL or My DSister. But they all have my address on it, so they said I am able to book using the discount. One CM told me they also think they have this marketing kinda screwy because she also thought it should be the frequent guest that get the breaks!
why should the ones who have never been be the ones to be courted with "sweet deals"!!
It's because they know, no matter what, we'll keep coming back! They're trying to get new people there to spend money.
Tinklvr94! Yeah, so glad you got upgraded. I was wondering about that since we have a 40% off code at GF coming up in November and I was kinda thinking that those with the codes wouldn't get an upgrade. I suppose it depends on all the renovations going on while we are there. But good to know that it is possible!![]()
Did you request any type of room? We are going with no requests and hoping for the best! Just curious if you had requests and still got upgraded. Thanks!
Oh an what is the latest on the renovations? Were you dissappointed in them? Also did you go to the new renovated Park Fare??
and I thank you for both your honesty and helpful hint.Very true. If you'd like to maximize your chance on getting a code to your email address, make sure to get a junk email account. Use that account when registering for all the Disney World sites. Make sure you default all of your answers to include that you've never been to WDW. I had 1 email address that had success in using this method. It may or may not work, heck, Disney may even figure it out with updates to their website, but any chance is better than none. If worse comes to worse, wait for the public codes. They are historically listed on mousesavers.com so that you can anticipate them. Did i deserve the code? No.Am I glad i got it? Yes
Does it bother my conscience? Nope
