My DD12 and 3 of her friends are playing it now. It sure has changed instead of a door you open they have a phone. There is no board either. I like how old things become new again :)
 
That was my absolute favorite game. I was heartbroken when I found out in my early 20s that my Mom had given my Mystery Date game away. :guilty:

The original game (like I had) goes for tons of money on eBay! :earseek:
 
I still remember the song from the commercial..."open the door....for your...mystery date"
 

Wow they actually brought it back? I remember often getting stuck with that nerd. Pointdexer was it? :rotfl:
 
back when the "grunge" look got popular with guys i remember thinking "hmm, that looks like the 'dud' in mystery date". :goodvibes
 
My DD6 received the classic Mystery Date game for Christmas. It has the door. They sell them at Toys R Us. We've been playing it on a regular basis!
