I just loved e-ride nights. For $10 you could stay in the park a few extra hours. They only sold like 5K or so tickets so the place was dead. You could walk on to anything. I wish they would bring that back. Nothing like riding SM & BTMR at 1am....:woohoo:

We liked them, and went often.
But they were only for MK.

I like the PM EMH situation that are available at all parks just fine, too.

Oh wow,I remember E-Ride nights from my first trip in 2003,so thinking about them makes me really sentimental.:) It felt really special because you had to be staying at a WDW resort to be eligible.I still have one of the E-Ride "flyers" from that trip.:)

That would be cool if they brought that back. The could do something like only offer it to people staying at Deluxe resorts and as added perk!!:)

Yeah, it was for MK only, but those current EMH are packed. I guess I'm possessive - I don't like sharing my extra hours with everyone. :)

I was never able to go for that, but it sounds like a GREAT time! Was it open to anyone or WDW Resort guests only? (Like EMHs?)

Why? Everyone on Disney property get to take advantage of the extra perks, which is why we love staying on site! I guess I don't see how it would be fair for a family who could not afford a Deluxe resort to be denied that option.
Don't like the sound of that.
I second that!

That's so funny! We just got back, and I was going to post this exact topic on here when I got home!:rotfl: They were amazing....talk about no crowds....We had entire lands of MK to ourselves sometimes!

Sunny, I do remember MNSSHP being like that! Especially when you go over to Tomorrowland. And that walkway to Toontown. I just love the MK when it's dark and dead. Hmm, that sounds morbid. :)

Oh man! I miss e nights! I would love to see them come back. :thumbsup2

:wizard: We loved E Nights! It was amazing how much the crowd would thin out.

Don't agree with the "Deluxe" resorts though:confused: . I'm glad it was for all resort guests when it was being used.

I remember going to an E Ride night on our first trip in 2000 and I didnt like it.. :confused3 I remember it being so busy and I dont remember us walking on any ride.. we waited forever to ride a few rides..

Maybe my memory just isnt too great anymore

Another HUGE fan of E-night here! Loved it! Absolutely don't agree to the Deluxe resort idea, however. Glad that Disney didn't do it like that! Very discriminatory!

Oh, yeah... good times. I remember one in 1997 with the park almost deserted!

I you guys are right. It wouldn't be fair so I guess it would be cool to have it for anyone staying on WDW Property.:) That everyone can enjoy it!!! :)

I did a few E-nights alone as DW and DD (who was young) would need their sleep so it was a great way to get me out of the room and get me some rides in that they weren't really into.

I like the EMH and even with them being crowded it's still nice to be in the parks late.

my DH and i remember one e-night in 2000 in adventureland - the rides were closed in that part, but we were able to walk thru - very dark, no people anywhere, creepy.... boy we miss that!

E-nights were the best. DW and I walked down main street completely alone. You really felt like you had the park to yourself.

DH and I loved E-Ride nights. One of our greatest memories was from an E-Ride night and we still, to this very day, smile about it!! :goodvibes
We were married in WDW in 1999. We had 37 guests. The MK had an E-Ride night scheduled for the night after our wedding. Dh and I went along with many other guests of our wedding. It was July 1999 so it was HOT! We still talk about being in the MK at 1 am waiting in line for BTMRR with our family & friends. Even at 1 am, it was still hot! When it gets hot here in the Philly suburbs, DH and I ALWAYS say, "Remember that E-Ride night after our wedding when we were at BTMRR at 1 am........"
