Just wanted to remind every one that December 5th is "Uncle Walt's" 100th Birthday.

I received an email recently that suggested every one raise a glass in toast at 12:00 PST, but that doesn't seem like enough to me. I thought about wearing a black armband in the park that day, but I don't think that would be appropriate. Walt would want us to remember his legacy of stories and parks, and his values, not that he died...

Walt Disney was the most positively influential person of his century. He has had a huge impact on me and my family. He has brought so many people together to enjoy his brand of family entertainment. How can I, and we, honor him on this special day?

Your thoughts will be appreciated...

I've never worn "ears", but I think I'll by some Mickey ears and December 5th I'll wear them.

Now if they would only make it a holiday life would be perfect!!

I will be celebrating with Walt, in spirit anyways, by having both Breakfast at Cinderella's Royal Table and Dinner that evening at Cinderella's Royal Table. I don't have any regular Mickey ears but have ordered me, DH and DD and DS all the personalized embrodried Santa Mickey ears for us to wear to two MVMCP that week. I'm not sure what else we might do that day but just being at WDW where he dreamed the impossible that came true even after he was gone with a little dedication from others who also believed in his dream will be truly special.

I WILL BE IN WDW TO CELEBRATE HIS 100 MAGICAL YEARS ALSO.

I HOPE TO SEE EVERYONE THERE.

DARLENE
