I'm watching it right now on Trio!!!! From 1977. So funny. I grew up watching this and its a total flashback.

Oh yeah! So who is on this one and which hairdo was the worst?? :)

LOL! I remember those and the equally lame Circus of the Stars.

The funniest was SNL's parody.....The Network Battle of the T's and A's......:teeth:

Trio was a riot last night. I caught Battle of the Network Stars and watched most of it. They even showed My Mother The Car last night - very crazy!

Wish we had Trio. It sounds like a good network.

And I remember both the Battle of the Network Stars and the Battle of the Ts & As (hysterical SNL skit).

Ah...the 70s...a golden era in tv! ;)

I used to love watching those shows! I wish I had Trio.:(

Forgive me for my youthful stupidity, but I had the biggest crush on Scott Baio in the 70's, and my teen heart would swoon watching him perform his athletic feats.;) :p

Ah, life before the advent of the sports bra.

seriously true! I don't remember noticing so much when I was a kid, now all I can say is OUCH. god bless those 2 women who invented the jogbra.

funny seeing some of my favorites from when I was a kid. Parker Stevenson from the Hardy Boys (loved that show), Vallerie Bertenelli from One Day at a Time when she was so young. They really need to do something like this today if only for the cheese factor. Hey, they say they want to combat reality tv. can't think of a better way! :)

I watched that! I can't remember his name but I remember one star (he did the commercials daring people to knock the battery off his shoulder) would take this competition so seriously and really get mad if his team was doing poorly!

You DON"T screw around with Robert Conrad! ;)

I loved Battle of the Network Stars & Circus of the Stars. Recently I asked DH if he remembered BotNS & he didn't. Well I guess he can see it now if he wants.
