I am remarried, but have been to Disney since my name changed, so I am not sure why my pincode came under my previous name. Anyway, will I have any trouble using it since it doesn't match the last name on my credit cards & such?

My last pin code came in my maiden name and I didn't have a problem using it. As a matter of fact I just received a free dining code in the mail today in my maiden name that I plan on using. Shouldn't be a problem.

if you have an old license or something with your previous name on it- take that too just in case!

It shouldn't be a problem, but it depends on the CM you get. If you have a CM give you trouble about it, try calling back and talking to a different CM.

The 40% off code I used for my trip last fall was in my former married name. The first CM I talked to wouldn't let me use it. Although she was also insisting that the PIN codes couldn't be turned into a package. I called back later in the day and got a much more knowledgable CM who not only was able to apply the 40% off code, but also knew that it could be turned into a package.

My understanding is that it is based on your address. My MIL lives with us and she received a 40% off PIN at our house. I called and was able to book it because we are in the same household. (I was lucky enough to receive this PIN in my name via email a few days later though, even though I didn't end up needing it.)

I was worried about the same thing, but had no problems. The CM wasn't sure (it sounded like he was new), but when I told him I thought it was based on your household, he put me on hold and when he came back he said I was right and I was able to book 2 rooms (one in my FIL's name...who is divorced from MIL) without a problem. I think he said he looked it up in a manual and verified it was based on household.

Sorry, that got long-winded, you shouldn't have a problem!

I think you will get different results depending on which CM you talk to. I called in a little over a year ago and had them check for PIN Codes. there was nothing under my name or husbands at our address. The CM asked for previous addresses and he found a code for my maiden name at my parents address. He was going to let me use it too except it didn't work for what I wanted. So not only did the name not match, but neither did the address. You just never know.

I was able to book a package using the 40% off PIN that came in my maiden name to my current address. I have been married 8 years so they really must have been digging the archives for that round of PINS.

same thing happend to me in 2007. I called Disney and asked if any pins were attached to my name. She said no. Then I thought, "can you just chec my old last name?" and she did. There was a 40% off pin there!!! All she did was transfered it to my current name and we were able to spend a week at AKL 40% off!!!
