We're on the Dream in October and I had been looking forward to doing the stingray adventure with my kids - 6 & 10. I have fed and swam with stingrays years ago on Grand Cayman and it was amazing. I showed some youtube videos to my kids and they are very hesitant. My 6 year old is adamantly saying no. My 10 year old just wants to feed them, but not swim with them. I don't want to waste time and money on this if they are not interested. Hoping to convince the 10 year old it is worth it.
Any tips, advice, or past experiences? If you did this with your kids did they enjoy it?

I managed to get him to try it once, but he was so nervous he let the food float away. The stingray ate it, so I guess he "fed" it. He still got to see them up close, so I didn't feel like it was a total loss. Besides, I enjoyed it enough for the cost of both of us.
After the feeding, we looked at the stingrays in the water a bit but he soon lost interest, so I walked him back to our family, then came back (I checked with a CM first that I could still come back in). The water is very shallow so there's not a big difference looking at the stingrays standing or sitting in the water as opposed to snorkeling. Maybe that makes a difference for your 10 year old?
