Relive the Magic DVD's... have I been ripped off ?

Has anyone ever ordered any DVD's from here :

I ordered a set of disks on 30th May, and still havent got them. The order status just says "processing".

If anyone has experience of them, is this usual ?

I have had three sets of DVDs from them and have never had any problems. I just checked and my last order was placed on 7th March this year and shipped on 18th March so it does seem unusual that you have waited over a month.

They have always been quite helpful when I have e-mailed them (in one case they sent out a complete new set of DVDs that I hadn't asked for) so try e-mailing and see what they say.

I ordered $90 worth of DVDs from http://www.extinct-attractions-club.com/ at the end of January for a friend's 50th birthday in March. I've been in constant email contact (so I have to believe they're genuine), but still haven't received either the DVDs or a refund.

I hope you get something sorted soon. Keep your fingers crossed for me!

I have emailed them , but no response as yet. My credit card was charged on the 31st May, but in one sense, as the order is still saying "processing" rather than "despatched" weeks ago, i'm less worried...especialy now I know at least one person has received products from them.

If you don't have any joy, I would inform your credit company.

I had a similar situation a few years ago. I ordered some items online that never arrived. I reported it to my credit card company, who asked me to send evidence, like my order details and follow-up e-mails I had sent. I did receive my money back.

Tron, I bought these discs a few years ago. I'd found the link to them on Lou Mongello's site and I remember there were people complaining on his forum that theirs were taking ages to come but mine came quite quickly, probably took 2-3 weeks. Some of the DVDs wouldn't play properly in my DVD player but when I emailed them they sent replacement discs which worked fine.

Deb, I know someone who used that site to order a DVD a few years ago. The DVD did arrive but if I remember correctly it did take quite a long time.

I sent another mail to them yesterday, to which I got a reply, including an apology for not replying to the first mail. They have said demand has been exceptional, hence the delay, but mine are due to ship in the next 2-4 days.

I think the disks are probably the same as the ones I already have, the ones that I sent out in that disk chain from a couple of years ago.

Hope you didn't pay too much for them as the quality is not very good. I finally got tempted when they were down to $10 for the complete set but probably shouldn't have bothered.

I think I paid about £12 all in. They arrived a week or so ago....there was only 7 disks, not 16 as they still advertise. There is a note saying they had compressed the videos down to 7 disks to "speed up shipping". There wa a code for 30% off my next purchase.

The quality of this product was absolutely apalling, blocky pixelated rubbish, and terribly filmed footage. I will not be using the discount code in a hurry !

If anyone is considering getting these disks, I urge you to think again. As an example of the quality, think Maxim mens magazine, only worse !
