Religious services

Are there any provisions made for the CP'ers to get to their respective religious service? Or is that something they figure out on their own?

They tell you where the different churches are, but they do not provide any transportation. You will need to either get a ride or walk.

In the book they give you the day you check in to your program, they will have a page devoted to what churches are around. The book even provides contact names and phone numbers.

As uttom said, Disney doesn't provide transportation, however if you can find friends who go to church you can hitch a ride. I know my church (Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, aka Mormon) provides transportation as much as we can. Each one is different. I'm pretty sure there's a Catholic church within walking distance, if I'm not mistaken. And last semester I had a friend who was part of a Bible study group on Tuesday nights held in Chatham, I think.

Ask around. You'll almost certainly find a good church if you have your eyes open. The hardest part is getting Sundays off to go to church.

Hey guys not everyone here is Christian... Do they give any contact information for synagogues around the area as well? Ill be doing the program during the Jewish high holidays and its really important to me to find somewhere to attend services

It should be in the book that they give you when you have orientation. I know my book from 2009 program has Catholic, Islam, Jewish, Latter Day Saints, Protestant, and Protestant-Nondenominational contact info in it.
