Mary Magdelene was one of Jesus closest friends other then the disciples. There are some people who believe that Mary Magdelene and Jesus had children, but it really has never been completely proven.

I really don't think this thread was intended to make fun of other religions. I belive it was intended to discuss what everyones beliefs are and why they believe that. Some of this stuff has really gotten out of hand. I think I am done with this thread.

On a similar sort of matter, I was talking to some girls I know from my school who became confirmed catholics recently and I asked them "So you got confirmed because you believe in the thing then?" and one of them said "Well no, not really. I just want to make sure that if there is a heaven, that I get into it".

That really annoys me. I like to think if there is a heaven, you will only get in if you TRULY believe in your faith. Not by just going to church every week or getting confirmed..

So what happens to people that are like that? Where would they go?
