Relief Bands - Do They Really Work?

I had not heard of these until someone posted over on the DL forum about motion sickness.

I have Menieres and I cannot ride in a car all day without getting cabin rockers at night. When I’m at the park, I take meclizine every day. Even with that, I still cannot do coasters, spinning things,etc. it basically just keeps me on even keel.

I know there are a lot of wise people who travel a lot on this forum so I’m asking for your help.
I would love to take the Maid of the Mist boat trip at Niagara Falls when we go this fall but I am so scared I won’t be able to handle it. If there is anyone here who has done that or something similar,do you think this band would help me?

I don't have experience with those, but when I was pregnant I tried a band that really did nothing at all to help me.

I couldn't get the first link to open so I don't know what that band looks like or how it works, but the 2nd one almost seems not quite like a tens device situation.

It actually reminds me of this crown device marketed for migraine patients that I tried and the sad reality was that was nothing more than a tens device, which did nothing.

Now, will the band work for you? Who knows. I'm allergic to the most commonly used anti-nausea medications and have to take Zofran.

This might be your medicine already but my daughter in law gets patches from her doctor also. I think she wears them behind her ear.
