Reliable food choices at Coral Reef for lunch?

I'm off to the WDW for a week with one of my best friends later this month. I'm an adventurous eater; she's a picky eater. We decided that we could each pick two table-service restaurants that we'd go to and the other person would just agree to go. One dinner and one lunch. We've got our ADRs, so we're good to go.

I picked Jiko (dinner) and the Hollywood Brown Derby (lunch).

My friend picked California Grill (dinner, which is A-OK with me) and....Coral Reef for lunch.

Aside from the fact that I think it's a bit macabre to look at fish while you're eating fish, Coral Reef gets a lot of negative reports on these discussion boards and in the guidebooks.

Does anyone have recommendations on what I could order for lunch at Coral Reef with some confidence that it'll be good? Extra points for it not being fish.

I'm not going to earn any bonus points with you. I think that the seafood dishes are really the way to go at Coral Reef. In particular, the seared rainbow trout would be my recommendation.

Don't get the lobster ravioli- wasn't very good. Wasn't impressed with the lobster bisque either. Hmm, DH had the fish of the day (salmon) and said it was good, but I guess that doesn't help you. I've heard the steak is pretty good.

We had lunch there in August. Definitely stay away from the lobster bisque. The waiter told me the chef recently changed the recipe. He told me this AFTER we'd ordered it and it was terrible. DS had the lobster ravioli, which I tasted and found unimpressive. DD had the chicken Ceasar, which looked good, and she said it was tasty. I had the fish tostadas (might be an appetizer, I was trying to eat light), and they were really good, fish though. The chocolate wave is yummy.
