I am all about going to Disney World on a honeymoon, but my fiance says it isn't relaxing enough for him. Are there any "relaxing" things you do (that aren't the parks) while you are there? Have to convince him!
Water parks, golf, massages, watercraft rentals, carriage ride, bike rentals, horseback riding, tethered balloon ride, shopping, duelling piano bar, bowling, movies w/ fork and screen
Here is the thing. Don't overplan your days. If you are out late for fireworks, sleep in and then grab a nice brunch or lunch. When we go, I flip flop the early mornings and late mornings, depending on the fireworks plans. And if you can afford it, go for the Dining Plan and choose some really nice dinners for your table service. Take your time and enjoy relaxing and dining. And don't forget lots of pool time together. Just sitting around the pool listening to music with a nice drink is relaxing enough for most people. Just make sure you find things you both enjoy! And congratulations!!!
I would be asking him what it is that he finds relaxing. Maybe he see that you really wanted your wedding at disney and willing to compromise. So maybe you can compromise with him and see what he would like to do also.
My DF and I have been planning relaxation into our Disneymoon. We have at least three days (not including our arrival and departure days) where we won't be going to a park at all. Two of them are scheduled pool days and one is a day in DTD. We both love the parks, but we also just wanted time to spend together and chill or spend time in the room together.
