My favorite childhood memory was when we won an all-expenses paid trip to WDW off a 2-liter bottle of Coke. Yup, that's right. People actually win those things!!! We stayed at the Contemporary and we were given food vouchers for all of our meals. Our first night there, we ate at Narcoossee's. I remember my parents asking our server what we could order with the vouchers. He said we could order as much as we wanted until we had to be rolled out of the restaurant!!
I remember eating the biggest shrimp I've ever seen as my appetizer and the bill was over $300 for my family of 5 (little sis was only 3 yrs old).
A not so fond memory of that trip also happened the first night. My little sister rolled out of bed and hit her head on the corner of the nightstand. My parents had to take her to the hospital and she got 5 stitches above her right eye. My older sister and I cried ourselves to sleep while my parents were gone. We felt SO bad! But, the characters were so sweet to her all week. They would point to her "boo boo" and shrug their shoulders (asking what happened). When my parents would explain it, the hugs and kisses began and she ate it up!
