Relax boys, the belly dancer does not want your singles! 9/2 final update p.87

:rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl: I so :lovestruc you Dawn! The only way that could work, and it is feasible, would be to rent out our first batch of 170 points that have to be used by Nov 30, 2010. We were thinking of Mexico in Feb 2010 to use them up. ;) Even with banking, they have to be used by next Nov. If we rent the points then we'd be doing WDW at the THV in early Dec 2010 :thumbsup2 :woohoo:

And let me add Miss Dawn that DH is pushing for WDW not Mexico. :faint: pixiedust: I wish we could afford both but it's just not in the cards right now.

Let me know if you are renting those points. We might be interested. Even though Jessica has said she wants to go to NYC for our next vacation (after WDW in October), I would love to go to WDW for ESPN the Weekend in February one of these years.

I am very serious. We cannot afford 2 big trips in 1 year, just not feasible. I am totally clueless about the process so I have been scouring the DVC boards for info. I may just have to PM a mod. :confused3 :surfweb:

I've rented points twice, including our upcoming trip, so if you have some basic questions I may be able to answer those. There may be some things from the DVC Owner's end that I might not be able to answer, just PM me the question and I'll let you know if I have the answer.

seriously, what did you do to that poor man?? Next thing you know, he's going to be on the dis!:rotfl2:

:thanks: I have about 1,000 questions. :hyper:

Disney magic baybee! pixiedust: I was texting him about the renting points idea and he's all: cool :cool2:. :faint: I should have added more than 10 points. pirate:

atta boy! :thumbsup2

by the way, jenny, if i you don't mind me asking, what did you do to lose your weight? when i lost 30 pounds in 2007 it was from adding more water to my diet and calorie counting (i already loved to exercise and still do). i haven't changed much since then but i've gained back about 7 pounds in the last 4 months or so (although that could very well be because of lack of exercise since march -- broken toe, stress over my brother's baby and NYC wreaked havoc on my fitness routine). i went to the ob/gyn today for my yearly and told her of our plans of making a baby soon. she said i'd gained 6 pounds since last year (i weigh 141 right now) and she wants me to get to 130 before i get pregnant if possible, just for my benefit. she wasn't mean about it or anything - just said i'd feel much better if i weighed a little bit less before i got pregnant. so i'm thinking i need something to kickstart my weight loss and was just wondering if you're doing something specific?

 I know you are teasing but Jenna and I originally were thinking early Dec 2010 during Value season and staying at the THV for 7 nights. Then when I realized I had 170 points to use by next Nov. that kinda through a kink it in. Before our buying DVC we were thinking Disneyland Dec. 2010. I am sure Jenna would :lovestruc to go to WDW next Dec.

As far as the weight goes, it's a few things: yoga, walking, and smaller portions. I cut out soda and only do one cup of coffee in the morning with fat free vanilla creamer. I don't do "diet" foods; never have, never will. My meals are just smaller portions of normal food. I drink TONS of water, I'd say 64 oz. minimum a day which has been paramount for me. Yoga and walking have replaced my emotional eating- truly. They really help control my anxiety. I feel the best I have since before having children and I am very close to pre-baby weight. But it's not just the weight, I feel great too. :goodvibes I tried the joining-a-gym route but I really hate gyms; the lighting and atmosphere and so not my style. So in summary:

~ yoga
~ walking
~ smaller portions

::yes:: I agree with your OBG, the lighter you are, the better you will feel and bounce back. Good luck sweetie!! I am excited for you and Ray! :teeth:

the only way we are not going then is if i'm 6+ months pregnant or if i have a baby that's under 5 months old. otherwise, we'll be there!

My personal experience: under 5 months old = Your child will never be so well-behaved in Disney ever again. It's all downhill! ;)

well, just keep me posted on the plans!

thanks for the tips. i need to drink more water! i don't drink enough. i drink a lot but not enough. i also only drink 1 cup of coffee in the morning. i do walk/run a good bit but i haven't lately because my broken toe really hindered that. it sounds silly but the place i broke it was on the outside of my foot and you don't realize how much you use that part of your foot until you can't any more! i'm gonna try to start getting up every morning to go for a walk/run. (i saw walk/run because i do intervals.) we live in a VERY small town and i saw a sign the other day for hot yoga and got so excited!!!! it's a BIG DEAL to have that here. and i've heard good things about it. i made ray write down the number b/c i was driving. i gotta call next week to get the scoop!

tell that to my husband! he seems to think i'm crazy for wanting to go before our future child is 5 years old. i'm like.....duh!!!!! they're easier to control before they can talk - they don't have opinions yet! :lmao:

I :lovestruc :lovestruc :lovestruc bikram hot yoga. If it's bikram you will go through 26 poses. It's awesome!!!! :thumbsup2

 All of my children had been to Disneyland before they were 2 y/o. I say start 'em young! ;) :wizard:

I agree -- take them early!! It certainly helps if you have DVC, though.

We took our first daughter at 3 months old...this trip was for DH and I celebrating our new baby at the POLYNESIAN!!! But it was actually sooooo easy to do ... just slap her in the Bjorn or the stroller and away we went...stop to nurse on a ride (TTA) or show or at the Baby Care center and away we went. Then we took her at 26 mo and 33 months.

Now we're taking our 2nd child at 8.5 months in November and again when she will be 16 months old in July.

What's really cool is to see how your child 'grows at Disney'...which rides they are scared of and which ones they enjoy. Also, I have some great "family tradition" photos and we'll continue to take a pic at the same spots year after year.

pixiedust: It is so awesome to watch them progress and it's bittersweet when the rides outweigh the princess:s in the coolness factor. :sad1: That's where Gab is now. I knew it would happen I just wished it didn't happen so soon. :flower3:

How old is Gab again? I need to prepare myself!

I was never into the characters when I went as a kid...not sure if it's b/c I was too old ...more likely b/c my dad would not wait in a line "just to get an autograph!" He'd say, "I'll sign your book instead...now let's get our money's worth on the rides!" :rotfl:

actually that's putting it nicely ... the real words were more like, "I'm not paying this ungodly sum of money just so you can get a piece of paper with ink on it!":rotfl:

:rotfl2:  You showed him! ;)

Gabby is 12 going on 16 sometimes. I did see little hints of my baby this last trip however, I fear that the next trip will focus solely on the thrill rides. She still :lovestruc the CoP and with that I hold hope. pixiedust: Chloe is 10 but still loves her characters; Pooh, Chip and Dale. :thumbsup2 She'll be more like me and never truly grow out of believing in the magic. :goodvibes
