I joined WISH back in Sept. 2003. I was on this mission to loose 20 pounds by the end of November. I was also attending WW and walking /running with DS in his jogging stroller almost everyday. Needless to say I got my 10 lb. award at WW in Oct. and then it was downhill from there. I just couldn't loose anymore and gave up after my class reunion at the end of Nov. Since then I have gained 12 pounds. I even rejoined WW in Dec. and quit after 2 weeks since I wasn't really sticking with it. Now, at my highest weight ever, I'm back here at WISH and rejoining WW tommorrow morning. I would appreciate any tips on how NOT to fall into that trap again!!
Thanks in advance and WISH me luck!!!

I don't do WW so i can't give you tips there

but one thing i think works across all the plans is if you slip off for a day don't give up
move past it and start fresh the next day

anyway

Welcome back and GOOD LUCK
 :Pinkbounc  :bounce:

First WLECOME BACK!!

Next - I agree with kaylajr - 1 bad day doesn't mean we blew it

And Most importantly check in often at WISH - the support we get here helps keeps you focused and on track!

GOOD LUCK!!

Welcome back DisneyChick. We've all been there, and now we're here for you. I've signed on with WW so many times that I've lost count. They don't care, they're just happy to have me back. Now I'm trying Atkins so it's another path, but whatever gets us there, right? Good luck!

I'm in the same boat! I'm back here at WISH. I don't think I've posted since before Thanksgiving. In the meantime, I've gained back close to 30 pounds. It's frustrating to relose weight you've already lost. But I figure I can try again or give up and just get bigger.

Hang in there!

I also was with WW at one point of time and found that I had a hard time too. I would constantly lose my motiviation and cheat. For me it was to easy to cheat on WW. Now I've been on the SBD for 2 1/2 months have lost 23 pounds. I feel great. I have learned hat one bad day doesn't mean I am a failure. I would also say to find your support. Sometimes it's helpful to have encouragement especially when you can't find the motivation for yourself.

I will keep you in my prayers that you may find your path, acheive your goals and feel better about yourself.

Thanks for all of the encouragemant & advice!
sm4987: Thank you for the kind words and congrats on your 23 pound loss...how wonderful!!

Welcome back!

For me, the key to sticking with it has been WISH! I can always drop in to WISH for motivation and encouragement any time of the day. Even when I don't have a question or a problem I need support for, just reading and responding to what others are posting really gives me a boost! :D

The other thing that helps is what everyone else said! We all have days when things don't go according to plan. When that happens, just put it behind you and move on! We can't change the past, but we can learn from it and focus on the future!

WISHing you luck and here's a little :wizard: for good measure!
