Reintroduction!!

Wow, this thread is still around? Rick's panties must be all bunched up by now!!

Yes. I was becoming disgruntled that it had been so rudely shoved to page 11 on the community board. So I posted on it to move it back to one, and lo and behold...people started posting, too!

Thanks for helping out the cause of getting this to 100 pages. Rick won't like that.

What kind of dressing? Mushroom? Cornbread? Sausage? What goes into your good southern dressing, Froggy?

Rick just finished telling me of your days of archaic language usage in Florida. He laughed out loud when I shouted "Heretofore" to him in the kitchen.

and...get yourself ready...it can be used to describe two weeks ahead or two weeks in the past...

"It was just a fortnight ago that I traveled to Florida." OR
"I shall be venturing to Scotland in just shy of a fortnight."

A fortnight is a unit of time equal to two weeks: that is 14 days, or literally 14 nights. The term is common in the British-Irish Isles and many Commonwealth countries such as Australia where many wages, salaries and most social security benefits are paid on a fortnightly basis.[1] Fortnight is rarely used in North America. The word fortnight derives from the Old English feowertiene niht, meaning "fourteen nights".

Well, I'm glad Rick remembers our fun with language at WDW. Now ask him what country I live in.

Joe, I know what fortnight means, I just never use it in a sentence.:rotfl:

It was just a fortnight ago that I was in Florida.:sad1: OH! In one fortnight I will be at Disneyland Paris. (I think).:cloud9:

You just used it in a sentence! How did it feel?

Wait...in two weeks you will be in Disneyland Paris??????????

Wow, that sounds delicious. Though the one thing I've never heard of put into a dressing is hard boiled eggs. I'm wondering about that. Probably outstanding!
No mushrooms? No crumbled sausage? No small apple chunks?

Either way, it does sound absolutely amazing. I can see why there would be no leftovers.

Enjoy it!

i fully intend to, lol, and no mushrooms, sausage or apple, mostly just cornbread and meat

Okay lets see what we can do about getting this thread to page 100. :cool2:

I do. :lmao: But I value my life.

One word- blackmail!!!!:rolleyes1 You make several copies and place them in seperate safe places with instructions that if you meet an early demise they will be published on every Dis thread!!! :cool2:

Hey...it's going to be impossible to get to 100 pages if I had to wait until I got to PAGE 11 to find this thread. LOL.

Anyway...I can't tell you how much I'm looking forward to a 2 and half day work week this week. Monday-full day. Tuesday-half day (parent/teacher conferences). Wednesday-full day. Then off THURSDAY, FRIDAY, SATURDAY and SUNDAY!

Anyone else getting a nice break like that? Are you going to have to do some traveling or are you staying home for the holiday?

What are everyone's Thanksgiving plans?

Going to where my sister lives in VA and eating at a buffett at the golf course clubhouse. Will probably still make a small turkey for sandwiches and other turkey leftover recipes.

Then on Friday we'll get up and hit the Black Friday sales. For her and I it has been a tradition for the last 7 years.

I almost forgot about Black Friday. If I could get myself up and over Target and the mall by SUNRISE, I might nab a good place on line to actually get inside the building.

I went last year. Got to Target at 9:30am. I walked right in and did my shopping. They had DVD players for $29.99. It was insane. There are a few gifts that I do need to get, and Black Friday might be a very good idea to save a little money (if you can stand the crowds and the pushing and the shoving!)
