she's as sorry as he is - there is no justification for her actions. It's not like she can claim "I didn't know he was married" when she started sleeping with him.

What a nut case. All I can say is this:

She and John Edwards deserve each other.

John Edwards probably just poured himself a stiff drink and is thinking...."Oh God, what have I done".

And Elizabeth Edwards is probably sitting in front of the television enjoying an afternoon cocktail and laughing her you know what off!!!

I only caught the last few minutes of it. I'm really surprised that in Oprah's final season, she's gone back to her old Jerry Springer type interviews with Octomom & Rielle Hunter.

Hunter kept saying at the end, "In my experiences" as in, "In my experiences with John, yes he loves me..."

I know of some people who have had experiences being abducted by aliens.

Doesn't mean it's necessarily real or the truth.

She came across to me as a love-struck 16yo although I think the 16yo probably has more sense. I thought Opera asked the questions I wanted asked not a softball interview. I still can't believe a grown woman can be so blind.

Allegedly they ARE still together and in love. All I know is .......there is an innocent child,
a family dissected and destroyed
all because 2 adults could not keep them selves off one another until one gracefully left a marriage (if thats what he Ever wanted)
John Edwards is despicable and Rielle Hunter is a "lost girl." SAD all around.
I only know what I know about Elizabeth Edwards thru media, but she did not ever seem "authentic" to me for reasons that include her revelations about her health and the + spin it was for their campaign. The "fake" perfect family they were throwing to the US residents in their BID for the WHite House, the Ultimate WIN! It grated on me...
I pray all the kids have healthy happy lives and can move forward and prosper having adults like that for parents...SAD
And as far as that other family, the wife/husband team making the talk show circuit how they "had" to lie to protect Edwards, I think they were in it up to their necks, They were in it for their own lavish lifestyle, notoriety all along and make me cringe.

A buddy of mine in Charlotte reported that JE called one of his campaign contributers who lives in her neighborhood and foisted Rielle on them for Thanksgiving. They let her come, but she complained about every little thing and was a royal b**ch. Rather awkward.

She's also been seen down in my area (he has a place on a nearby island) with him and the baby.

Rielle Hunter is a very unlikeable woman. Oy. I was just sitting here shaking my head through the whole interview. It was hard to watch, but, yet, I couldn't look away.

I know beauty is in the eye of the beholder but I HAVE to wonder what in the world John Edwards saw in her? She is not a pretty sight.

I'm on the west coast so I don't have to decide for an hour whether or not to watch this train wreck.

It is certainly the norm now for the mistress to come out and spill the beans. I don't know if this is a good thing or a bad things. After all, the blame should fall squarely on the person who is married, yet it takes two to tango.

It's very sad when a family is broken by a spouse's cheating. How can exposing it to light prevent it in other families? Or can it?
