Not sure if anyone else is like me, but I'll post this for the one other person on the planet who may be interested. I love having my camera readily accessible on the front pocket of my sling pack. It's the perfect position for quick access and great Disney shots.
Unfortunately, my newer Sony RX100 did not fit in the pocket. I looked high and low and thought about sowing on a new pouch. Then, after looking at 100s of new slings, I found one. Only one. With a review from another Disney person who would use it exactly as I would:
"I purchased this for a trip to Disney World. The padded compartment for a computer makes a great cooler for hauling drinks. Front pocked is large enough for camera. First I purchased the Patagonia Atom Sling Daypack, which is fine, but much smaller. My wife enjoyed the Patagonia."
BINGO! Exactly what I needed to hear! Here's my RX100 in the strap pocket. It's tight (width) but it works. Bag is also water resistant and can easily be checked by security with only 3 zippers. http://www.rei.com/product/854942/rei-quantum-sling-daypack#reviewsTab
