Rehitching?

Does anyone know if they still do the Rehitching at the Garden Grill? I was recomending this to someone, but I don't know if they still do this. We did this in August 2004 with 12 of us. DH is still in shock.

Sadly, this is just a memory now. Garden Grill no longer does the rehitching ceremony.

Your server would remarry you. Mickey and Minnie would be the wittness's. We did this with the kids and grandchildren and they got such a kick out of it. They even gave you a rehitch certificate, signed by Mickey, Minnie and the preacher, we had Ruthie. We planned this without DH knowing. Boy was he supprised.
Seems like Disney is getting rid of a lot of favorites. Whats going on?

After we did this on our wedding anneversary, with the whole gang , went to HDD that night. My grandchildren told them it was our ann, so they made us get up to dance. One of the dancers heard me say "here we go again". When I explained about the rehitching(she did not know what this was) she announced to the whole place that we were married by Mickey Mouse. Needless to say, we were embrassed.

Supposedly too many people complained that it interrupted their dinners so the restaurant stopped doing it. For awhile there were "hidden" ceremonies but even these have stopped.
