Rehitching Ceremony at Epcot

Who has done the Rehitching Ceremony at Epcot? It there any cost to do this and was it worth doing? What all do they do? I'm thinking of this as a surprise for DH!

I suprised DW with a rehitching last year at the Garden Grill. I don't think it cost any extra, if it did, it was minimal because I don't remember it!! Here is what happened with us, The "Preacher" Rick got up and said that 5 years ago we got hitched, but we forgot to invite all of our friends so we are getting rehitched with all of them present. We stood up in the walkway and he looked at DW and said "Do you?" She was a little shocked and didn't answer I don't remember what all he said but eventually she said "I do." Then he looked at me and asked the same, I answered right away!! Then you have to kiss to 100, but they count real fast and skip a bunch of numbers. You get a cake for dessert, and a certificate stating that you were Re-hitched and it is signed by Mickey, Minnie, and the Preacher!!

Any other questions just ask!!

Did this last Sept with our best friends tagging along ..have pics and it was just too wonderful ..make sure you tell the CM at the podium that you are there for the rehitching as sometimes they forget..also they do it at lunch and dinner so either way you want to go..they give you a bunch of surprises so make sure you have the camera to capture the moment..have fun..Marianne

I called and got PS reservations made for lunch at the Garden Grill and told the CM on the phone I wanted to do the Rehitching. She too said to remind the CM at the podium about it. Our DD's 4 and 10 will be with us. I can't wait to see their reactions! The Character lunch is a surprise for them and the Rehitching is the surprise for DH - WOO HOO!!!

I just surprised my DW with the rehitch on Memorial Day. She had the same reaction to "Do You?" but got her "I Do" out when she was asked again.
BTW they also have an Ice Cream Social at 3PM if you don't want to do lunch or dinner.

Surprised DH with a rehitching in May. It was hilarious to see his reaction to the whole thing. DO REMIND them at the podium and make sure they write it on your slip. Eventhough I did, they did not write it down and at the end of dinner (dessert was already served) I took the CM aside and had to ask again. It was free of charge, you get a cute little re-hitched certificate and a congratulation Mickey cake as well. DS and DD took pictures and laughed through the whole thing.
