So my wedding date has officially been confirmed!!! We are getting married on a Tuesday and wanted to have the rehersel on Monday but the place we planned on for the rehersel brunch (California Grill) was already booked for a convention. So now we are looking to have the rehersel on Sunday b/c we could get California Grill that day. Does anyone know if you can have rehersel's at the Pavillion on Sundays? I wasn't sure, haven't heard back from our coordinator except that the CG is available for Sunday so I guess it's not a problem but I just didn't know how they did it...we are having a custom wedding. Are the rehersel's held at regular ceremony times 10, 12, 2 etc? How long do they typically take? THanks a bunch!! :earsgirl:

This may have changed... but when we did our rehersal we did it on the "odd hour" at 5:00, in the WP, as the ceremonies were all on the even hours. It lasted about 20 minutes but our setup was pretty simple. We ran through things once, answered a couple questions and were out of there. The floral people then started setting up the 6:00 wedding as we were lingering making sure everyone had transportation to dinner.

Rehearsals are held at the WP subject to the WP being available. They typically won't confirm your rehearsal time until a month before your wedding. if the WP isn't available, they generally use the ballrooms at one of the hotels as the back up. Where your rehearsal dinner is may also impact when and where your rehearsal takes place.

We had our rehearsal on a Sunday at 4:30 pm, and got married on Monday afternoon. As posted above, they won't set the time in stone until about 30 days ahead to allow for a full schedule of weddings - but we were told to expect an afternoon time as the day slots are usually held exclusively for weddings.
