So I'm having the HARDEST time finding a rehersal dress... Idk why it was so easy for me to find my wedding dress and for a simple rehersal dress i'm pullin' my hear out.

I could really use some inspiration, here ladies :goodvibes Can y'all post some pictures of your rehersal dresses for me?!? We are doing a rehersal wherever we are able to (won't know till 30 days out)... but then we are pretty much going straight to epcot for a dessert party so I want some simple that wearing in the parks would be ok.

Also... whats the rule on rehersal dresses? Can any color work?!? I was originally against anything but white, but the more i think about it, the more I'm wondering if it's "acceptable" to be other colors like gray... black... even pink?!? Maybe some sort of print?!?

As you can see i'm at a total loss!!! Help would greatly put my mind at ease :cloud9: Thanks, ladies!

As I understand it you can wear anything you like in whatever colour you like.

I would simply dress for the dessert party and not worry about the rehersal. A dress in your favourite colour. Perhaps you have a dress you wore when you first met or on your first date?

EDIT:

I just did a quick etsy search for random dresses and I found a few that may work depending on your style and how formal you want the rehersal/dessert party to be.

I hope that helps a little.

You can pretty much where anything you want for the rehearsal. We actually just wore t-shirts and shorts since we came from the parks. It wasn't really what I had planned but we didn't have time to change beforehand.

We had a rehearsal dinner a few hours later at DTD and I wore a dress for that. Same thing, anything really goes. It depends on how casual or dressy your dinner is.

Here is mine

We plan on doing at DP for our rehearsal dinner at Sago Cay, so I'm going to be getting a white feather dress. I've been unsucessful finding the one, purchsed one dress in 2 different sizes online had to return both. SO I finally found a store that carries the dress in Daytona Beach and will be making a trip up there this Friday after work to hoping this will be my third lucky trip, because I'm getting discouraged. I love dressing up so this dress is prom/formal type :goodvibes

I bought this to wear to our RD...although with so much time left I can't promise myself that I won't purchase something else between now and then :rolleyes1

I kind of have a problem when it comes to buying dresses that are on sale/a really good deal.

I don't think it has to be white...as a matter of fact for awhile I think most people didn't wear white to the RD. Now I see it more as an excuse to get a "little white dress" since I'm not planning on changing into a 2nd dress during the reception (I love mine too much to take it off).

I wanted a fancy rehearsal dinner, but DF didn't and chose Bahama Breeze. So I said that we still had to dress up.

Here is what I will be wearing this Friday!!!

Mine's a pretty casual dress, but I agree that you can pretty much go with anything you want. I got mine at Target, here's what it looks like:

We are most likely having the rehearsal dinner at a small seafood place on the water (I'm having an at-home wedding, not in Disney), so I think it will fit that vibe pretty well :)

I haven't picked my rehearsal dress yet, but I love this dress! I bought one a couple of weeks ago and I have been waiting for an opportunity to wear it!

We wore white (for me) and black (for my DH) personalized Minnie and Mickey polo shirts that I had purchased from Disney Shopping. Mine said Bride and DH's said Groom. We had an early morning rehearsal and then went to Cape May for breakfast after. Of course we also wore our Bride and Groom Mickey ears.

My DH wore the same shirt for our Engagement Pictures a few months earlier with Misty.

Thanks, ladies! I knew I could count on you all to put my mind at ease!! I normally don't wear dresses at ALL and was really having a hard time justifying spending tons of money on a dress i'll probably only wear once. This way I can get a cute less expensive dress that I could save and wear for special occasions with my hubby to be :-)
