Hey everyone!

I was just wondering if everyone had a rehearsal before their actual wedding ceremony in Disney and if they felt it was needed? I am debating on having one or not. A lot of my wedding party hasn't been to Disney in years and are only coming for a few days. I want to spend as much time as I can with them in the parks, but if not having a rehearsal will cause the ceremony to not run smoothly, I will certainly have one. Thanks everyone! :)

I had one. For me, it made me feel comfortable about knowing what to do and where to go. The actual rehearsal only takes about 20 minutes.

What she said! The rehearsal doesn't really take long at all, and I felt so much more confident on the wedding day knowing what to do and when. :cutie:

We didn't have one but there was only a few of us.

In hinds sight it night have been a good idea to have one as American ceremonies are quite different to the way things are done here and I think it would have helped prepare our mums a bit with the unity candle.

Not that anything went totally wrong on the day.

we had one the day before, it took around 30 mins ad really calmed my nerves, there was only a few of us as well but its so different to what we have in the uk it was very helpful

I had one and good thing because it calmed my nerves and some people in my bridal parties as well. Mine only took 30 mins as well.

If your an escape there really is no need to have one but if it will make you feel better then go for it.

If you are having a big bridal party then I think you should. I just had a MOH and BM. Everything ran smoothly for us.

They don't offer Escape couples an official rehearsal where the wedding coordinator is there, but you can certainly do one yourself with your officiant - s/he is the one who runs the show anyway! You just need to see if your officiant is willing to do it.

Yeah Escape brides it really is not worth it then because my planner was the one who organized everything..not our officiant. Your planner will tell you what to do.

We did the rehearsal, and like everyone else said, it took about 20 mins and it was a good way to just be comfortable with how everything was going to proceed, especially with the entrances and the staged exit.
