Do intimates have to do this? In the planning kit it says that we discuss things with the coordinator that day 45 minutes before the wedding.. but how do you know what to do with out practice?! Especially in the wedding pavillion?

I am in the same shoes your are in!!! I am having an intimate on july 26 at the wedding pavillion and I am concerened about the same issue. How will we know what to do?

we had a custom wedding but the WP was booked the day of our Rehearsal so we had it in a GF convention room…..our coordinator explained the whole thing like we'd be standing at the WP... from the mark on the carpet where DH was to stand to how to turn....I think even without a rehearsal you will be just fine

We're also doing an intimate. I'm not too concerned about not having a rehersal. If you've been to a wedding before, then you know the general flow of things. The coordinator goes over things right before the wedding. But even if someone messes up, people probably won't notice if you went too fast/slow or turned the wrong way.

No.....intimates do not receive a rehearsal, but I think that yuor coordinator and pastor will talk to you beforehand and give you an idea of what to expect. Unless you are having special circumstances (singing, reading, or special points in the ceremony that are not traditional) you will be fine. I have been in many weddings and found the rehearsal to be nothing but a good reason to have a party!
