Hey Guys,

I know this has been posted a million times, but I couldn't find anything on my search.

I read on someone's PJ that they are doing an luncheon instead of a dinner. I love this idea. Everyone can go hang out at parks afterwards instead of me calling everyone to see if they are off the rides yet! I can picture me going nuts calling everyone to see where they are and they are all in the parks waiting in lines when we should be at our nightime rehearsal!:rotfl:

I'm going to ask now if I can have a morning rehearsal, not sure yet.

Anyhoo, I'm asking you guys because I need suggestions of places to check out when we go in Sept for our site visit. Our planning session will mostly just be a long weekend so we won't have as much time. I'm definitely going to check out Ohana's (though I'm not sure how their lunch differs from Dinner). Any other suggestions?

A prefix menu would be great! Any menus or pics would be appreciated! I'm thinking somewhere outside of a park preferable.

Thanks guys, your help is truly appreciated!

We originally had planned on having a rehearsal dinner at O'Hana. When we got to our planning session we found out we had been scheduled for a 12:30 rehearsal so that would not work. Now we are doing a luncheon at the Grand Floridian Cafe and they have been really accomodating. Really, you have to wait to see when you will be rehearsing to decide what to do for your rehearsal meal.

Could you request a morning or early afternoon rehearsal?

Its all about what other weddings are scheduled for that day and if you want to rehearse in the same venue your wedding is at. For instance, my wedding is at the wedding pavilion and I could have had a later rehearsal if i chose to rehearse in a ballroom. The only time slot available in the pavilion was 12:30 so thats what i took. hope that helped!

Yes, that does help!:goodvibes Thank you!

I'm going to ask my Coordinator when I send her my questions, I'm just collecting a bunch so I'm not emailing her all the time!

I just wanted to get an idea of where we could go for some places so DF can make some ADRs when we go in September. I'm a excessive planner!

i had a rehearsal lunch. since i couldn't book my rehearsal space until 30 days out, i had to wait and see what was available. we had a rehearsal at 10am and then lunch at 12:30 at garden grill in epcot. i loved it and wouldn't have changed a thing!

We went off property to Olive Garden. They offered a fixed menu for a great price. We had 42 people. It was alot of fun and the food was great.

We are having a 10 a.m. rehearsal at the Yacht Club and then having a luncheon at FRESH in the Dolphin. They are giving us a private room without any additional charge and we can bring in centerpieces and favors early for them to sit out. We are doing the buffet which is $17.95 per person including beverages (plus service fee & tax of course.) We decided on it because it is affordable and private! :thumbsup2
