Just wanted to get some advice on rehearsal dinner locations. We will be having between 40-50 people so I don't think we'll be able to get reservations at a restaurant so will need to do a catered dinner somewhere. We were looking at the American Adventure Parlor or possibly the Attic. Would love to hear was other dis brides have done!

We have not had are rehearsal dinner yet. But we are having it on ship wreck beach at the yacht and beach club. We will be having a buffet or sit down meal from 5:30-7:30. The only thing I want to let you know is we have to spend $125 per person because it is a disney location and after 2:30. I think it will be very nice but $125 is very steap. :confused3 I didnt pick the beach DF's parents did. Good luck :thumbsup2

You may not be interested in this, but our upcoming rehearsal dinner is for a party of 40 (plus a few kids) and we have a reservation at Hoop Dee Doo for the 5 p.m. show. We are all in category one, and obviously we won't all be at one table, but they are putting us next to each other in a cluster. I called group reservations 180 days out the MOMENT that they opened, and it was just like making any other ADR. It's about $68/person, but considering we don't have to pay for any rentals or decorations, it's not a bad deal. I am so excited for the RD-- I think our guests will love the silly fun!

^^^^This is exactly what we're doing too. Dinner for 42 at the Hoop Dee Doo Musical Revue, also planning for the 5pm show, category one. We can't make our reservations till the beginning of October but when I called last week to make sure they would take a group of our size they said they allow for groups up to 50 people. We chose Hoope Dee Doo because it's one of my favorites and because it goes perfectly with our "Country Rustic" themed wedding.

Also, there's Disney's Spirit of Aloha show at the Polynesian Resort. This is also a dinner show like the Hoop Dee.

Good luck!!

We're having our rehearsal dinner at the Living Seas Salon in Epcot, followed by a dessert party at Italy Isola. Since it's in the park it will be expensive, but it's so worth it! I think it's special because no one can go in there unless it's for a special event, and I know for a fact that no one that will be attending our rehearsal dinner has been there before :) Plus I'm excited to watch all the fish in the tanks while we eat! Just an idea-but I think the American Adventure would be beautiful too! It's seriously so hard making decisions in a place like Disney World where there are so many amazing (but expensive...) options!:yay:

My DD's was outside the GF on the Marina and was amazing! We had the fireworks from MK going off as we dined. The meal was a Polynesian themed buffet and everyone loved it, some more than the actual reception! :thumbsup2
Good luck with your planning.

We are hosting ours at Raglan Road in DTD. Its cute and relaxed environment plus the evening entertainment. They have semi private and private rooms. We are having about 40 in the semi private room with view of the irish clog dancers and music in the evening.

We're doing Trails End dinner buffet at Fort Wilderness! Nothing beats BBQ!! I heard it was good tasting food =D

We are doing a dessert party at Italy Isola West. We are including a fajita bar along with the desserts.

We are doing a Lady & The Tramp themed Bella Notte at the St. James Room and Patio at the Boardwalk for our welcome dinner. The space is very cozy and nice. We didn't love the pictures online, but when we saw it in person, we did love it. The patio is a huge bonus.

We are holding our reception at the American Adventure Parlor the following morning/afternoon. It is a great space. Very private since no one else can get up there. I have a degree in Colonial American History and my husband loves it as well, so it was a natural choice for us.

Good luck with your choices.

We did ours at Italy Isola in Epcot and it was perfect. Ours was the Lady & the Tramp themed Italian buffet which was fabulous. It was scheduled such that everyone finished eating right before Illuminations and we had "front row seats."

We will be holding our rehearsal dinner at Sea Breeze Point. It's a common ceremony venue of course and I didn't know we could have our dinner there but we are:) It's really pretty and just a quick walk over to Epcot for Illuminations after dinner.

We are having ours at Kona Cafe. :thumbsup2

How many people did you have? we are looking for around 26 adults and 4 kids..We are trying to stay as close to 1000 as possible. I would love to do the Kona cafe. Just curious as to what you did. :)

Ours was at the Cabana Bar at the Dolphin. We only had 20 people, but they can do private events for hundreds.
