Rehearsal Dinner Help!

So I'm interested in having it at Narcoossee's for like 20-30 people and just wondering how it works. Can I just make reservations as if we we're just dining there and it's not for a rehearsal dinner, or do we need to choose a menu and all that stuff?

My wedding isn't taking place in the resort, so I don't need this to count towards any mins or anything, but I would like to try to get a price quote to give to my future in laws since they will be the ones paying.

Can anyone help??

If not should I just tell them it will cost approx. XXX and give us the money and we just do it? What would you guys suggest?

I think you can book through group dining, that is how I did ours at O'hana. Then you'd go off the menu

We did dinner at Narcoossee's after our wedding. You can call the dining number and they'll try to transfer you, but you have to talk to the group dining person at Narcoossee's directly. They'll only do a limited menu for you with a group that large. For us it was family style seafood appetizers, choice of soup or salad for everyone, choice of entrees with one beef, one chicken and one seafood entree, and choice of desserts. It's $65ppn plus the automatic 18% gratuity. I believe this includes softdrinks.

Oh, they will also print your names and congratulations on the menus.

Can I do the group menu even if I'm not having my wedding at WDW?

We were going to do our RD at narcoosees...but they can only seat a limited number of people (we were having 35). When we calculated the costs of dinner, we found its actually the same price as a dessert part at Epcot!!! YAY! So we switched over and having a Rehearsal "Dessert" lol.

Yes, the group menu is just for large parties, not at all tied to weddings. Since we did an escape package, our dinner was not part of DFTW. Just tell them it's your RD and they'll do the custom printed menus accordingly.
