im gettin really upset about all these rehabs in january! i mean i understand it is a dead time. that is fine. i knew going into planning my trip that splash mountain would be closed, found out last week El rio del tiempo was gonna be closed, bummed about that. then today i find out rock n rollercoaster!? seriously why dont they release these dates a little further ahead of time! then you can plan the vacation around them! blah! sorry :sad2:

Put a positive spin on things. At least you know of the rehabs before you leave and don't get your hopes up. I'll never forget my stepmother getting to Disney World and saying she had to ride It's a Small World. She had been talking to my father about it for weeks. I had to break it to her that it was closed for rehab. Crushed her.

Me too.....I check in on the 1st and TWO of my favs are closed the next day. I am thinking about going down a couple of days early and going to the parks to ride them before they close. How sad is that?

:scared1: oh man! i was there when small world was closed that was sad! that is true, i guess they dont HAVE to let us know at all.. just a little further of a heads up would be nice.. im spending 2800 dollars!

I just read another thread that said Rock n roll roller coaster will be closed in January. The disney site also has it posted. I will be there the 12-19th of january (how sad). This was one of my favorites in April this year!

im going in jan for one day with my DBF after our cruise and I was very upset to see splash mountain is gunna be down for rehab :(

I am going in Dec. and not Jan, but I did happen to look at the rehabs for Jan. I was shocked at how many of the rides would be in rehab from Jan. to March. And, it's not the minor attractions. It's the major attractions. If I had planned to go during that time, I would reschedule. I understand that rehabs are necessary and that they have to be done during slow seasons, but it just seems that better planning could prevent so many major attractions being down at one time.
