We currently have the free Regular DP for Sept right now.
Does anyone know the price to update to deluxe?

I'm just not sure if we will be able to get by on 2 meals and a snack a day (without buying out of pocket for another meal or more snacks), so wanted to look into upgrading.

Another question is with the deluxe plan, do you get an appetizer with table service? I know that you don't with the regular plan.

Thanks!

Oh and I can share any of my meals with my 2.5yr old right? (another reason I'd like to updrage, so he can have some of our snacks etc too)

bet your looking forward so much to your trip

you can use your meals as and when you like so if you wish to share with your 2.5 year old that will not be a problem. they think of your meals and snacks as a grand total and not a daily allowence so use them as you like.

as far as i am aware you still dont get an apertizer with your meals on the delux, you just get the option of useing your meals as a counter service meal or a sit down (as we call em) and its still an entree, desert and a drink.

To upgrade plans I believe they just charge you the difference in price between the plans. I think it's an extra $32 per night per adult (71.99 vs 39.99?) and $11 per child per night (21.99 vs 10.99). Someone can double check those numbers.

You do get an appetizer, entree and dessert with the deluxe plan.

We've done the deluxe plan before, and will do it again on our next trip. We use the credits to have two meals a day, but they are both table service. We do find with the regular plan that one table service and one quick service meal were not always enough, and if you want to do any signature dining the credits don't go that far. So we always have additional meal costs with the regular plan. Not so on the deluxe.

The upgrade cost is $32 per person per day.

You DO get an appetizer on the deluxe plan.

We're upgrading for our free dining trip in September and can't wait. Bring on the food! We've been to the parks plenty of times, so this trip is mostly about the food - trying 10 new places out of our 11 total ADRs. :)

On the deluxe plan, everyone is entitled to an appetizer for table service meals at lunch and dinner. Disney says no appetizers are included for CS meals (should you choose to use any of your credits for CS meals) or breakfasts. You get an extra juice in addition to your beverage for breakfast. Some posters have reported being given a side dish as an "appetizer" at CS sometimes, but that is not a specified part of the plan and you may or may not be allowed to get one.
