Regular room request

Hi there! We were unable to reserve a DVC room on points through David's rental company so reserved a room through hotels.com. we got an Island gardens view room. I have read the thread and looked at the pictures about requesting a high level room ending in 73 or 79, does that still apply for regular reservations or is that just dvc? Any advice on what to request? Thanks so much!

I would just stick with the highest floor request. The more specific you get by adding room numbers, the less likely you are to get your request fulfilled. If you want to face a certain direction you can ask for that for example we ask for the highest floor overlooking the luau stage.
