Regular line vs Express line

I’ve read that it’s worth waiting in the line for Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey at least once in order to experience the “preshow” for the ride (we'll then do single rider for subsequent rides). I'd like to know what other rides should we wait for at least once so we don’t miss anything? We’ll be going Oct 30 – Nov 5 so hopefully the crowds won’t be so bad that we also waste a lot of time by using the regular line rather than the Express line.

Ones that pop into my mind as having important pre-show elements in the regular queue: Spiderman, MIB, Simpsons. I've actually never waited in the regular Mummy queue and I regret it, so that's on my to-do list for next time!

yes for the ones you listed.

i would also add in the Mummy and Dr Doom.

by using Universal Express and skipping the lines will i miss these pre-shows?

Yes...make sure you go through the regular line at least once so you can see everything.

Yep, we`re going to go through the regular Mummy queue this year once.

Have only ever gone through the regular queue once when we couldn`t use the hotel EP during HHN.....and it was so busy we never got to appreciate it.

So will do it once in September when it`s quiet.

Thanks. on the 30th- Thrsday night will be going to UO around 5 ish so will have 4 Hrs-.

what are the must do's as far as waiting-

I assume the Mummy. with only 4 Hrs waiting for everything might cause a problem.
