My DF and I booked our honeymoon yesterday online and when we booked it we only did the Regular Dining Plan. For the past 2 visits to Disney including our last trip in April we did the DxDP. But this is our honeymoon and now I'm wondering if we should have booked the Deluxe Dining plan to do some of the Signature Restaurants. This is our first trip together without my daughter so it's finally kid free and we'd love to do a few new restaurants. How much is it to upgrade to the DxDP too?

The difference between DDP and DxDDP is roughly $33 per adult per night. (There's a sticky in the DDP subforum of the Restaurants forum that has the exact numbers.)

If you're wanting to dine in the manner the plan suggests (mostly TS, with 3 courses per meal), then DxDDP is much easier to work with than DDP. Of course, it takes more investment (which you already know), but you can come out ahead much easier on Deluxe than you can on the Normal. I won't bore you with my usual checklist, since you have done it before ;), but so long as you plan it out properly, and you're doing what you want to, and it fits the pattern of DxDDP, you'll be fine.

Thank you for the information. I'm waiting to hear back from DF to see if we can upgrade to the DxDDP. Normally when we book things we book it to revolve around my daughter who is addicted to Disney as much as I am. lol.
