Hi, I'm looking for a place were you can get a burger, chix sandwich, maybe a steak (gold old fashoned America food) and see the fireworks. Preferably near Epcot - we are staying at the Boardwalk villas for our honeymoon and I want to make a reservation at a restaurant where we can see the fireworks as a surprise for my wife to be. She's a little picky on food, or not really I guess - just wont eat much other then chicken sandwich's and salads.

I was going to do the crown and rose but I just saw the menue and there wasn't much of a choice for her...

how about big river grill and brewery? great burgers, very good chicken sandwich, and they do serve steaks! there is no chicken sandwich on the dinner menu, but on the lunch one. and unfortunately, they do not take ADRs. this restaurant is located on the boardwalk. happy honeymoon trip!

While I do really like Big River Grille... you can't watch Illuminations from there, the way you can from Rose and Crown.

I can't think of any restaurant in the Epcot area that serves that kind of food and offers a view of Illuminations.

But besides Big River, Yacht Club Galley also has food that would fit. At either restaurant you can walk out after dinner and see part of Illuminations without going into the park. The bridge near the BW is supposed to afford a good view.

You could get food at the Liberty Inn and find a nice bench to eat and watch the fireworks. Not terribly exciting but there are very few restaurants where you can sit, eat and watch fireworks all at the same time, especially at Boardwalk.

Or go to the MK and get something to eat in time to see the fireworks.

If she'll eat roasted chicken it was quite good at Rose and Crown. It sounds like getting something from Electric Umbrella (over by the fountain) would be an option too. There are not many sit down places in EPCOT where you can get "basic" food, and Le Cellier has no view.

At MK you can get counter service as Cosmic Rays - they would offer burgers and such, and the patio there has a nice castle view and you can see some fireworks from there.

OK, I made reservation at the Rose and Crown - she'll eat roasted chicken and they had a salad on the menue. The choices are limited for her but she should be able to find something - thanks for your suggestions!

The problem is they couldn't garuntee me a table outside. I made the reservation for 7:50pm so the timing should be about right and told them it was our honeymoon. Anybody have any experiance with this? What are the chances I will get a table we can see the fireworks from?

I've never been but have heard that all patrons can go out on the patio when the fireworks start to view them, even if you aren't eating out there so you should be fine either way. JJ
